  • Needs analysis and data-driven instruction - 15 years - Data-driven instruction has been at the forefront of my professional career. Most recently, my work at the UN involves developing and launching a Learning Needs Assessment prior to developing a course, and developing an end-of course evaluation to determine the effectiveness of the training. Data from these initiatives is carefully reviewed to develop a plan of action.

  • Accessibility and virtual instruction - 5 years - I have been developing accessible learning materials and training others on how to design for accessibility since 2019. I am familiar with WCAG, W3C, and ADA compliance requirements.

  • Graphic Design and Video animation and creation (Vyond, After Effects, Premiere Pro) - 5 years - I often develop interactive content to be embedded into larger learning programs that I design.

  • Research - 20 years - Research and research methodologies have been a core part of my adult life. From my time as a student to my current position, I am continuously reviewing new methodologies and developments, and I must research a topic to gain better understanding of the content I am developing. After researching, I corroborate my findings with SMEs to ensure that no stone is left unturned in the new content.

  • Adult and secondary instruction - 15 years - I have worked with learners of all ages, but my primary focus is on adult and secondary instruction. I am well-versed in adult learning theory and have been training adults since my time as a teacher.

  • Project Management - 5 years - I have managed several of the learning projects that I have developed for the UN, including a learning program that reaches a target audience of up to 30,000 users. This involved developing a project plan and timeline, conducting a risk analysis, managing stakeholders, managing and collaborating with other team members, coordinating project development and developing a communications strategy for project launch
